  • How long has Clockwork Learning Centers been going?

  • Clockwork is a new business on the East Coast, although we have 9 years experience operating quality childcare centers.
  • Why makes Clockwork such good Centers?

  • We offer quality care by way of;
    • qualified teachers and caregivers
    • higher than industry standard staffing ratios
    • educational and safe toys and equipment for the children
  • Do you have an educational curriculum?

  • Yes all of our time with our children is spent developing their skills, whether emotional, physically or mentally. They are continually learning through their interaction with teachers and other children
  • Do you teach literacy and numeracy?

  • Our numeracy program starts early, introducing our children to visual recognition of number, shapes and patterns. This develops through the ages and their competency, to counting, sequencing and very basic addition. Literacy is very important to a child as it underlines the foundation of communication. If a child can identify letter shapes and the sound that letters make, they have a strong ability to construct words and from that foundation, read. Our literacy program is called Letterland, which included in our standard curriculum. We do not charge extra for this program. You can find more information about Letterland on our website.
  • As a parent is there any benefit or assistance in regard to our childcare payments?

  • You may be eligible for tax benefits to assist with your child's tuition and care. This can be achieved by either reducing the income taxes you pay, or by increasing your tax refund. More information can be found on our 'Childcare Tax Benefits' page.
  • What is your teacher to child ratio?

  • We always endeavor to maximize our staff to child ratios maintaining the highest level of care, supervision and teaching possible. For staff ratios relating to a specific center please refer to our Center Locations page which will stipulate exact State licensing requirements.
  • Are your staff qualified?

  • In accordance with our licensing and accreditation, our centers are staffed by qualified Early Childhood trained staff and teachers. The staff's training and qualifications do vary from center to center, and each center will have at least one first-aid trained staff member on at any point in time.
  • What checks do you have in place when employing staff?

  • Our staff recruitment process involves many formal checks including qualification and reference checking. All staff must provide health checks and will undergo CARI and CHRI criminal checks.   • Do you offer after school care?

  • After school care depends on the availability of physical space within the center to allocate to dedicated after school activities. Please refer to our Center Locations page which will list this as a service if relevant to that Center.
